This instrument is considered a marching baritone, though is almost a marching euphonium in terms of spec and sound. Featuring a massive bell throat and correspondingly huge and deep tone, the King 1124 is a little odd to try to play out on the field, but has some very interesting uses and situations in which it flourishes.
