We drove to the Indian Beach trailhead and at the parking lot there is an awesome picnic area looking out at the Pacific Ocean and Tillamook Lighthouse. We hiked about 3 miles on the coast until we reached Indian Beach. The beach was amazing and the Sun even came out when we got there. There is a small tide pool near the trail and a parking lot at the beach. The waves were huge and watching them crash against the huge boulders sitting on the beach was stunning. The trail is extremely well kept and very popular. There is a small climb at the beginning of the trail and then you drop down to the beach.

We then drove about 4 miles to Cannon Beach and Haystack Rock to watch the sunset. Pictures don’t do Haystack Rock justice, it juts out of the ocean and towers over you while birds circle the top and nest.
