Hawksworth 9466 0-6-0 large wheel base Pannier Tank, 210 of these were built at Swindon and outside firms 1947-56,. 9466 was built by Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn 1951/2. We take the 1015am departure from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead as far as Williton with 9466 working very hard up the 10 mile climb to Crowcombe Heathfield into the Blackdown Hills. Slipping on several occasions and very well handled by her driver 9466 barks uo the gradient with 7 Mk1 trailers. 07th September 2024.
