i’ve always wondered how it works and what you discuss. i’ve heard different experiences but it depends on who your counsellor is and whether it’s a program or personalised like ours. so i’m sharing what ours is like to anyone curious.

resolve: don’t make resolutions based on your own willpower. Satan knows your weaknesses better than you do. Jesus refused to make decisions with His natural mind and resolved to make choices through a revelation anchored in His Spirit. don’t follow your heart because it is deceitful and beyond cure. don’t make decisions when you’re HALT: hungry, angry, lonely or tired. don’t be idle. fix your gaze through Scripture and goals. divine direction guides you. struggles make you stronger. refuse temptation. it loses its power over you when you do. only God can lead a country. without Him people do what they want. people who obey God are happy —- Mon 9 Dec 2019
