Lots and lots of dolphins! We head south through Virginia towards Norfolk and complete our journey through the Chesapeake Bay. A railroad bridge is stuck down, so we have to anchor early in the afternoon in Portsmouth, VA. Fog the next morning delays our start, but we eventually make our way to the start of the Great Dismal Swamp, where we encounter our first-ever lock and finish our day crossing the North Carolina state line.

This version of Episode 50 includes minimal edits to video and audio. This is intended to allow us to roll out more videos weekly in order to encourage greater engagement with our audience, and also to allow us to catch up to current time a bit quicker. We will still end up releasing a more fully-baked version of Episode 50 a bit later.
