We will dive into learning Winget's Upgrade and its sub-commands, and how to PIN an application so it will not upgrade. I will share ways to make your time in the study more effective. We will look at "machine" and "user" software install methods. We will look at Chocolatey and see this mature and comprehensive Windows Package Manager with over 10K applications. Chocolatey also has a GUI for ease of use. We will demonstrate installing the client and downloading applications. We will look at two GUI package managers for supporting our family and friends and how to automate upgrades and patching.
