A fantastic mountain bike ride up Helvellyn in the Lake District. Helvellyn is England's third highest mountain behind Scafell Pike and Scafell, but as the Scafells do not have bridleways to their summits, and Helvellyn does, then Helvellyn's summit is the highest legal right of way for mountain bikers in England.
Filmed in September 2020, I rode with Andy of the Trail-Finder YouTube channel. We climbed Grisedale to Grisedale Tarn, then up Dollywaggon Pike to reach Helvellyn before descending via Sticks Pass.
