Filming for BACK TO BATAAN ('45) took 130 days, which was longer than expected because of the rapidly changing Pacific war news at that time. In fact, two thirds of the way through production, the invasion of the Philippines occurred and the script had to be changed to keep up with current events. 🗞️🌏
