Is Windows 11 worth upgrading to? Yes and no, let me tell you why.
Microsoft have announced that as of October 2025, Windows 10 will no longer receive crucial updates and that includes security too. Ahh, I need to upgrade right now! How do I do it? Stop.

You do have some time left yet and believe me, you’ll need it. Specification requirements for Windows 11 are strict and though you only need a minimum of 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and a basic processor and graphics card, it’s your security software that will catch you out.

TPM 2.0 is a requirement and only comes as standard on machines no older than 5 years so if your PC is out of date, you’ll need to upgrade your PC or buy a new one. But the same goes for performance too, as Windows 11 develops to support powerful apps, so will the requirements so it’s always safe to future proof and save yourself the hassle.

Basically, Windows 11 has its benefits. You may not see them now, but in time your PC will thank you as Microsoft has some big changes coming in the next few years you might want to cash in for.
