Hare Krishna !!

Try out the Urad dal kachori recipe which is one of Srila Prabhupada's favourite dishes. These kachoris are so flavourful, crispy and a must try.

Nos - 15

Ingredients:

For the dough -

250g all purpose flour or maida
½ tsp salt
50g melted ghee
½ cup + 3 tbsp hot water

For stuffing -

½ cup urad dal
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp crushed coriander seed
1 tbsp crushed fennel seed
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 tbsp dry mango powder or amchur powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp black salt
2 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
1 tsp roasted cumin powder
½ tsp asafoetida or hing
Salt to taste
1 tbsp kasoori methi or dry fenugreek leaves
⅓ cup gram flour or besan
Pinch of baking soda
Oil for frying
