Session recorded at the 5th Edition of the Akada Children's Book Festival in September 2023 (Lagos, Nigeria).

Chimdindu Ugwuanyi is a Clinical Researcher and Child & Adolescent Health Educator. At the ACBF 5th edition, she explored the importance of understanding Body Safety for Children. She provided the children with a wonderful session and it was well worth their time

The event featured a diverse range of activities for children of all ages. Author-led book readings, book chats, featured books, storytime sessions, and book exhibitions allowed children to meet their favorite authors and learn about new books. Writing & illustration competitions, a chess tournament, an interactive STEM exhibition, sip and paint art sessions, and an art exhibition provided opportunities for children to express their creativity, read, learn, and have fun. Insightful sessions for parents and teachers offered guidance on how to support children's literacy development, while professional workshops for writers, illustrators, and publishers provided a platform for creatives to learn and grow.

The 6th edition of The Akada Children’s Book Festival (ACBF) is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 26, 2024. Like other editions, it promises to feature lots of fun activities for both children and adults.
