One of the best value motorcycles under $3,000. Ultra reliable, low and lightweight, cheap to own and maintain, looks that dazzle, there's just not enough great things to say about this little vstar. The xvs650 has gone virtually unchanged it's whole life, so this review should apply to all years and models. There is the classic and custom trims for this bike so I explain some of the differences there. We also cover power, weight, comfort, feel, ride ability, top speed, and many of the general specs. This bike has an amazing sound, even with the cheap no name eBay exhaust we installed on it, it's basically straight drag pipes with the baffles removed. When compared to the Honda shadow, Kawasaki Vulcan, and Suzuki boulevard, I think the vstar takes the trophy as far as best bike to buy and own. Comment with any questions, enjoy!
