逾百位全球各地頂尖藝文機構代表雲集西九文化區，出席於香港故宮文化博物館舉行的高峰論壇歡迎晚宴，為亞洲最重要的文化盛事之一揭開序幕。
西九文化區管理局董事局主席唐英年、 M+董事局成員烏利・希克博士及巴塞爾藝術展行政總裁Noah Horowitz於晚宴席上展開富啟發性的爐邊對談，作為多場精彩討論的前奏；由西九文化區培育、多名本地粵劇新星組成的「茶館新星劇團」為觀眾帶來精彩的粵劇表演，本地口琴家李俊樂及鋼琴家查海倫亦現場演奏動人樂章。
是次高峰論壇以「跨文化 越時代」為主題，是香港最大規模的國際文化峰會，來自全球最重要的文化區和頂尖藝文機構領袖，將一連三日分享文化區及博物館未來發展的熱點議題。

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (WKCDA) played host to more than 100 visionaries from renowned global arts and cultural institutions worldwide at the Welcome Dinner at the Hong Kong Palace Museum tonight, raising the curtain for the Hong Kong International Cultural Summit 2024, one of the most significant cultural events in Asia.
In addition to an insightful Fireside Chat by Henry Tang Ying-yen, Chairman of the Board of WKCDA, Dr Uli Sigg from the M+ Board and Noah Horowitz, CEO of Art Basel, the dinner also showcased a captivating Cantonese opera performance by the WKCDA’s homegrown Cantonese opera troupe “Tea House Rising Stars Troupe”, along with a performance by local harmonicist Gordon Lee and pianist Helen Cha.
With the theme “Connecting Cultures, Bridging Times”, HKICS is the largest international cultural conference ever staged in Hong Kong. There will be three days of insightful dialogue where cultural leaders will address the Summit on the future development of cultural districts and museums.
