#legiongogameplay MKB player plays BLACK OPS 6 BETA weekend 1 run on a Legion Go??

*Ignore the rubbish gameplay - I haven't played a COD properly since MW1 remake, on an MKB setup - so using a controller again is rouuughhhh - but I wanted to display how the game performs regardless

The Good:
- Best running COD on the Steam Deck since Black Ops 3
- Looks amazing on the huge legion go screen
- FPS can crank up past 80-100fps easily once you've played a few games and allowed assets to load
- This is smooooth for Beta, although typically COD betas are relatively finished games and Betas are network stress tests

The Not so good:
- Text can be a little bit difficult to read, but most games are like this on Handhelds without altering text size settings in general. Dropping it to 800p and integar scaling would probably yield a better result here

- A Call of Duty and AAA title problem - but the shader loading times are rough, but completely necessary as its unplayable until shaders are done. Not to mention having to boot COD HQ, have to restart for updated data, boot COD HQ again, select BO6 beta, wait for COD HQ to close, then wait for BO6 to load, restart because it also has updated settings, boot BO6 again, then wait for shaders to load. COD has by faaaaaar the worst launcher system I've ever seen

- I ran into an issue where I had hold to sprint on (L3), but the Legion Go was terrible at registering the sprint, so much of this footage I'm just walking around but it wouldnt register sprint


NOTES:

- RAM is set to max in bios settings

Key things we're looking at:
- Running around slowly and quickly panning the camera angle
- CPU/GPU load and temps in different scenarios
- If there's night and day or weather scenarios - comparing performance in different light
- Particles and effects when in combat, gliding/swinging or breaking things in game etc.
