This is an old ass video back when leader ability damage didn't scale with levels. If you want to read the old description go ahead, it's below this. The level scaling update didn't effect Eva01 much cause she does % damage and not flat damage. Still a good leader, but the ability is pretty pricey and you really need to use it wisely. I think some better leaders have emerged since her release.

Eva Unit 01 is a fantastic 4 star leader, right up there with Kiryu. Her minigun attack still has pierce and she also has her AT field activated when standing, but I cannot tell if it is actually doing anything other than just looking cool. As a unit the AT field reduces damage by 30% but you can't really tell how much it helps her as a leader since all 4 star leaders have pitiful hp and take huge damage regardless. Anyways, her special move is easily one of the best specials in the game. It hits all enemies on the field, dealing 80% of their remaining hp as damage, and 15% to the enemy leader. Now the damage is percentage based, so it will never kill anything, but it can severely cripple oncoming pushes and your units can then pick them off with ease. This ability is extremely useful when there are multiple enemies on the field and can really turn games on their head. However, it isn't without it's shortcomings. It's 5 cost, has a 150 second cooldown, and a long startup animation. You really need to use it wisely. Because as easily as it can delete pushes, it can just as easily leave you wide open to attack. Eva Unit-01 herself also has the typical dogshit 4 star stats that we know and hate, so she has trouble finishing the job on enemies who have been hit by her special and gets melted easily by enemies. But these issues can be worked around, as long as you play smart. Eva Unit-01 has huge potential to be a viable leader at high ranks. It's a breath of fresh air having a new leader actually be good and not just decent.
Eva leader works well with units that have high range or aoe, so you can safely finish off enemies at a distance who have been hit by her special. Ultima, Super X, Hedorah, Ultraman and Bio are all great choices for her. You may also want to consider bringing Train Bomb or Dimension Tide if you absolutely need to finish off an enemy. Unit-01 is very worth investing G Materials on, because she is both a great unit and leader and so you can also get those sick af Kiryu skins. I may actually consider using mine on her after she is no longer level 10.
In other news, Angweenus makes his triumphant return on the channel and he's here to stay. I dumped my last bit of gold into him and was able to get him up to level 30. I figured I'd do it before the upgrade event ended so I have another option to play around with. So far I'm super impressed with how well he is doing. He soaks up damage like a sponge and shields your other units from harm. He works well with Ultima, letting the big guy safely get shots off while distracting enemies. Expect to see Angweenus more in future videos cause I'm really liking this dude and wished I leveled him up sooner.
Next vid, I plan on taking a look at the 4th Angel in some fair matches, along with Kiryu Kai and DESUTOROYAHHHH!!! Should be a fun one so stay tuned.
