The Battle of Chochiwon (Gaemigogae/Ant Hill) was the fourth conflict between the North Korean Korean People's Army and the United States' Task Force Smith (21st INF REGT). Today we metal detected a large hill defended by 3-21 INF (21st Infantry Regiment, 3rd Battalion) and found some great artifacts, including a 1945 silver nickel dropped by a TF Smith member during the battle here.
