After scouting out locations along the Route, we would be chasing Canadian Pacific #2816 on, and stopping in Copeland Park to see Burlington Route 4000. We would finally get to our Hotel in St. Paul. After getting settled in there was another locomotive we wanted to see, and we would get to it at Sunset. The Grand Trunk Western 8327, which would be my 3rd Grand Trunk Western 0-8-0. Built by the Lima Locomotive Works in the 20s, it would would for the Railroad until the 1950s. It was sold to Northwestern Steel & Wire with many other 0-8-0s. Thes that didn't have any serious Mechanical issues would operate until about 1980, and various would be saved. 8327 would end up in Bandana Square in St. Paul. Where 8327 was at also was pretty cool as it was the Former Como Shops of the Northern Pacific Railway. Walking around the area, you could see former Railroad artifacts including a water tower, coaling tower, and a Burlington Northern Boxcar.

During this weeklong adventure in the Midwest, I would be traveling with ‪@GTRailFanProductions‬ ‪@Viloco_Valve_Productions‬ & ‪@DroppedSignal‬

There is still about 3 other videos from our adventure in the Midwest, and the Chicago land area! That being said, as we look to summer, if all goes well I look forward to filming #630 and #4501 down at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum. I am also hoping to catch #2102 in August.
