While there is nothing better than waking up to Denver Broncos football at 11am, going east and playing in the early slot has always been our achilles heel! In his end of year press conference last year, Sean Payton admitted this fact and spoke about how surprising it was to him as he didn't have to deal with that as the coach of the Saints! But Sean Payton went a step further, and actually petitioned the league to schedule our east coast games back to back so that we could stay east and bond as a team. The league honored his request and in Week 3 the Denver Broncos will play at Tampa Bay and then stay on the east coast for a week of practice before facing the New York Jets in week 4. I think this gives this is a great example of Sean Payton identifying problems and then coming up with novel solutions for it! I think the team bonding and the acclimating to the time zone will be great for this team full of young and hungry guys! We also break down how GREAT Tim Patrick looks rocking the number 12.
