The model range has seen the axe applied to all three base grades, and production has shifted from South Korea to Czechia (Czech Republic), and European sourcing means higher costs.

How much higher? Well, it's now $12,000 harder to get into a Hyundai hatch.

And the new models also get some annoying safety tech, they don't have wireless CarPlay / Android Auto, and they have a finicky new mild-hybrid powertrain.

So are there any reasons to buy the new i30? You'll have to watch and let me know what you think about it!
