To clear your head. To look at things from a different perspective. For fresh energy. To connect. The reasons why we ride are endless. But for Martijn Van Strien, he found his why through a second hand bike purchase which took him down a path that would reconnect him to everything he had lost his passion for - and then some.

As a cycling content creator, this Netherlands born adventurer started his career as a sustainability focussed fashion designer…but when you look closer, the two aren’t as far apart as you’d think. With an intrinsic love for creative pursuits that manifested throughout childhood, he enrolled in a design course that shifted his perspective on the future. Driven by a desire to make sustainable fashion more accessible, Martijn started his own clothing company that would later lead him to deliver Ted X talks and notably, provide outfits for a Lady Gaga music video.

But there’s only so much one person can do on their own. After coming to a crossroads feeling alone in his room working 16 hours a day, 7 days a week trying to solve design problems, he found a new outlet. Cycling became his new community, and creating videos, his new release.

Surrounded by creatives who fuel his energy. Connecting through cycling adventures and stories. Bonded by their love of nature, riding outside and shared interest to preserve the land they ride on. A full circle moment given Martijn’s passion for sustainability and aesthetics.
