Oh, this episode is quite long :-) I hope you can stay with me for the 40 minutes that it takes, but...

I couldn’t resist placing more than the usual amount of beautiful views from the slopes. The resort itself is the largest of those I have visited so far. Also, there is a contest and a short tour of my ‘little room’ at the hotel.
On December 11, 2019, I came across the largest ski resort in the Pustertal Valley - Kronplatz / Plan de Corones, which awaits skiers with its perfectly prepared 119 km of runs. You can get there by car or by train, which I will talk about in the movie.

Kronplatz / Plan de Corones (2,275 m asl) guarantees excellent conditions for skiing. Its domed top is completely treeless, thanks to this the routes are wide and sunny, and the slopes offer picturesque views of the Zillertal Alps and the Dolomites.

The variety of downhill runs is huge: from flat ‘learners’ slopes’ for beginners, through varied red runs, to demanding black runs for experts. The resort is not only intended for lovers of wide slopes and wide carved turns. The two black runs above Bruneck town, make the most of Kronplatz, and the Herrnegg route is FIS approved. The third black run below the Piz de Plates summit is called Erta, which can be translated as "steep" and this is its best description.

I will show you the new Alpinn restaurant, where we will eat excellent dishes in the company of the peaks, towering over the Pustertal valley.
