Dave is back with a 2023 housing market forecast, almost exactly a year after his ever-popular 2022 prediction. While we can’t confirm that Dave has psychedelic powers for property forecasts, we do know that he and his team search through the data as best they can to find out where home prices, interest rates, and inflation are headed next. And, if this year’s predictions are even as close to accurate as last year’s, then we’re in for a wild ride.

Today, Dave will look at what’s been affecting the housing market over the past year to determine what we could expect for the future. These housing market predictions are entirely based on data we have available in late October, so if the Federal Reserve decides to get more/less aggressive as 2022 comes to an end, we could see things start to change. But, if you want to know where home prices are headed so you can get deals and steals over the next year, we have some good news for you.

Dave also compares two major markets, showing how different areas reacted differently to the overall changing housing market.
