Mahaveer Swami Wildlife Sanctuary is located on the bank of Betwa river, in Deogarh village (around 33 KM from Lalitpur district ) of Uttar Pradesh. Sanctuary is currently managed by Kaimoor Wildlife division of forest & Wildlife department U.P government.
Spread over more than 1200 Ha, sanctuary provides natural habitat for many types of endangered Vulture species. Sanctuary is also known for Jain temple complex and Dashavatara temple .
