Rapid Penang is the sole city bus operator in Penang, monopolising stage bus operations all over the state. The current fleet consists of over 300 Wheelchair-Accessible Buses, with a mixture of Scania K250UB and Scania K270UB bodied by Gemilang Coachworks.
