For this week's Record Of The Week, I did a full track-by-track breakdown of my "Satisfaction Guaranteed" mix, which is available to be streamed now on Apple Music. This is a pretty exciting opportunity for me, landing my DJ mix on a platform that reaches globally. As important as they are to DJ culture and history, the bulk of DJ mixes live in a grey zone: unlicenced and not "legal", but still
essential to street music culture, breaking new music & sounds, creatively mixing songs together, showcasing new and classic talent, and above all giving the listener a unique listening experience curated by the person who makes the mix.

Going above-board with Apple Music allows these styles to not live in the shadows, but exist front-and-center (even on the Apple Music front page, as some friends have texted me!), and that's exciting. I was a bit disenchanted with the lack of accessible options for listening to DJ mixes online over the past decade, with many platforms clamping down on the rules surrounding them, but this has reinvigorated me.

In my "Satisfaction Guaranteed" breakdown, I discuss and play music in the mix from Outkast, The Marley Brothers, Steady B, Public Enemy, Joe Quarterman & Free Soul, even Henry Mancini, and much much more.
