This is the story of a pastry chef from Bandol (Var) who became the king of chocolate in New York. Jacques Torres, awarded the title of Best Craftsman of France in 1986, flew to the United States in the late 1980s to live the American dream. Today, he owns six shops and a chocolate factory. Between television appearances where he is regularly invited, his creative workshop, and the boat that serves as his home off Manhattan, Clémence Badault and David Peressetchensky followed this Frenchman who made a fortune by adapting to the American taste.
