THE JUDGES HAVE SPOKEN

After the recently concluded "Masining na Pagkukuwento" held on the 28th of November, Tuesday, I am but honored to share that we were awarded "2nd best!"

At first, I was really doubtful about it, but upon receiving a message confirmation from my youngest Mikayla's adviser Ma'am Czarina Jane Sanchez-Teves. I stopped doubting that I made the cut!

To some of you wondering what was the contest all about, it was for the yearly commemoration of the "Reading Month".
The contest was opened also for the kids, the reason why my youngest was also present there. And the other category was for Teachers.

I competed for 6 other parents in 6 different elementary schools in Navotas City. It could be more, but the interested participants were in a small number only.

It was done online, as a participant you are not informed of your reading piece. You have about 10 minutes to do the storytelling with the following criteria firstly, the proper interpretation. Secondly, the correct voice tone and thirdly, how you performed it along with all the gestures via online.

I, for one do not know how the other participants would have interpreted it, because I and the rest of it was on the other portal waiting. It took me more than 3 hours before I even came to show my reading interpretation.

Thank you Mam Teves for not thinking twice in choosing me to represent the school. The support you have shown absolutely made me to be one of the winners.
