Contemporary artist, Angela Glajcar specialises in crafting site-specific installations using paper, light, and space. The elegant simplicity of her compositions emerges from the complete absence of colour. Intrigued by the exploration of spatial experiences, the artist employs a technique she terms "terforation," a fusion of "perforation" (derived from the Latin word for "hole") and "terra" (the Latin word for "earth").

Her works are characterised by juxtapositions on one side and the removal of material through rips and perforations on the other. This creates a dynamic interplay of light and shadow, forming edges in the "wounded" paper that allow viewers to rest their gaze in contemplation. These installations fully occupy their designated spaces and, when observed from different vantage points, beckon transcendent moments of reflection.
