Description:
The students of the sixth grade of the Hadjikonstantinou schools start their trip from Alimos, Athens to Nafpaktos. Following the route of the old National Road they are taken to Rio.
In the bus, they talk, laugh and eat a snack. The ferry-boat departs from the port and the travellers sit in small and big groups. They smile and wave at the lens for a picture.
The port of Antirrio stands out in front of us with its impressive walls.
The ascent to the Venetian castle, a current symbol of Nafpaktos and of great strategic importance to the Venetian conquerors against the Ottomans, begins. The exhausting walking to the castle does not worry the students. They follow the dirt road with the three rows of successive walls. The view of the distinctive harbor/castle and the traditional settlement from the hill rewards the students who are now turning back.

Creator's description:
A trip to Nafpaktos with the Chatzikonstantinou School, The "College" then had a 7-grade high school so I left and did my senior year in Chatzikonstantinou, in Kalamaki, to skip the extra class. It was also mixed (boys and girls together) and we had girls that I had missed at "College"!
