With these vinyl or PVC tiles that imitate ceramic or wood tiles, you can renew your floors easily and without removing the current floor.

European Handypeople: Decorating

In this video we begin by explaining the criteria to choose the resistance of the tiles. Before starting with the installation, we insist on the need to prime the porous surfaces or to remove the wax from the old floor so that the tiles adhere well. Another important requirement is that the surfaces must be smooth because, otherwise, the vinyl will trace the defects of the surface underneath. The first thing we do is teach you how to draw the lines on the floor so that the tiles are well aligned. The installation is very easy because the tiles are self-adhesive. We will show you how to cut the tiles and a trick to cut them when they reach the wall. Then, we show you how to make the finishing touches with the skirting boards. We also show you how to place the transition profiles to finish off the joint with other floors in the house. And at the end of the video, a final tip: how to reattach tiles with impact glue.
