This is a super cute quilt that I made for a baby quilt swap with my good friend, Rachel Rossi, of Rachel Rossi Design. We both have children that are the same age (I have a boy and she has a girl) and we are both due within a couple weeks of each other with ANOTHER baby! (Me with another boy and her with another girl!) So we thought it would be fun to celebrate our arrivals by making each other a baby quilt!

About this quilt:
I designed the layout in Adobe Illustrator, and then had the design printed onto fabric at HonestFabric.com- so there is no piecing or appliqué or anything! It is a whole cloth quilt! Then I quilted it in my signature free-motion quilting style called "Graffiti Quilting". I used my favorite thread, Sulky 40wt Rayon, and I am quilting on my Longarm quilting machine, a Handi Quilter Infinity26. The batting is 1 layer of Warm & Natural, from The Warm Company. And I used white minky for the backing so it is SUPER soft and snuggly! Here are links to that info if you care:
