I built an outdoor coffee table with castle joints using woodworking jigs I made.

I made an outdoor rectangle coffee table from spruce wood with a patterned plywood table top (herringbone pattern). Table legs and aprons are connected through castle joints. To make the castle joints I used a table saw in combination with a tenoning jig, though there are other ways to cut a castle joint - a chisel, an oscillating tool, a coping saw. I didn't want to run a screw through the joint so I glued the castle joint and added sawdust to clean the tiny gaps in the joint. The tabletop is made of birch plywood. I cut the plywood into strips and made a herringbone tabletop pattern. To level the table desk I used a router flattening jig.

Note:
- cutting a castle joint can be done in multiple ways. Apart from using a table saw you can use a chisel, a coping saw, or an oscillating tool.
- don't throw away the sawdust, you might use it for joint corrections
