Within this section, we locate and click on the link labeled 'Evaluate Stata'. This action takes us to a form where we need to provide essential details such as first name, last name, company, phone number, address, and a brief description of your intended use for Stata and some other information that is shown in the video.

After completing the form, we click on the 'Submit Form' button, initiating the evaluation request process. We inform you that Stata typically responds within one working day via email. Upon receiving the email from Stata, you'll find crucial information including a username, password, serial number, and authorization code etc. necessary for downloading and activating Stata 18.

Within the same email, there's a link provided to a webpage where you can proceed to download Stata 18 for your respective operating system - Windows, Mac, or Linux. We emphasize the importance of using the credentials provided in the email (username, password, and serial number) to access this download page.
