The highest and best act for Social Security introduced
In this video, we are talking about the details of our proposed legislation called the highest and best act specifically focused on Social Security. We are discussing the details of Social Security and the annual cost of living adjustment otherwise known as COLA increase is never enough and beneficiaries continuously fall behind each year. With this being said, we are introducing the highest and best act which would give beneficiaries the highest potential increase to Social Security benefits based On a couple different factors. As of right now, the annual cost-of-living adjustment or COLA increase from Social Security is based off of the consumer price index for urban wage earners and clerical workers, however we are looking at bringing another between the two increasing Social Security benefits on a quarterly basis versus once annually. We're discussing the details of our highest and best act for Social Security here in this video and what it would mean for beneficiaries going forward.
