Luca Toni, born 26 May 1977 in Pavullo nel Frignano (Italy). 346 games and 157 goals in Serie A, playing as striker with Vicenza, Brescia, Palermo, Fiorentina, Roma, Genoa, Juventus and Verona. From 2000 to 2016 he played 13 Serie A seasons.

He scored 16 goals in 47 international games (2004-2009), winning 2006 World Cup and taking part to Euro 2008 and 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup.

Individual honours: Serie B Topscorer (2003/04 with Palermo) and Serie A Topscorer (2005/06 with Fiorentina), scoring 31 goals (the most goals in a Serie A season since 1958–59), which also earned him the European Golden Shoe, becoming the first Italian player ever to win the award.He was also the league's joint top scorer in the 2014/15 Serie A season, in which he become the oldest player to win the award at the age of 38.

He retired on 08 May 2016.
