An unexpected verbal spat between NBA TV co-hosts Sam Mitchell and Chris Miles took a bizarre turn during a segment Friday night, when Mitchell seemingly gave out Miles' address after a heated exchange about finances.

The altercation started during a discussion about Golden State Warriors stars Draymond Green, Stephen Curry, and coach Steve Kerr, after a shot of Curry wearing his Paris Olympics gold medal was shown. Mitchell, a former NBA player and coach, pointed out that Kerr doesn’t have a medal, as coaches don’t receive Olympic medals in all sports.

“The coaches don’t get medals,” Mitchell commented. “I guess that tells you how much international sports value coaches. Not at all.”

Miles, trying to lighten the mood, quipped, “I’m surprised coaches get a paycheck for this show. Maybe you should do it pro bono, my friend.”

Mitchell, however, didn’t take it lightly. “Last time I looked at my check, it’s pretty close,” he responded, hinting at financial struggles. “Hey, I’m taking donations.”

Things quickly escalated when Mitchell directed his frustration at Miles. “Why don’t you come off some of that money you’ve got? Since you’re bragging about it.”

Miles laughed, denying that he was bragging, but Mitchell pressed on, bringing up Miles’ properties. “Did you rent out your beach house in Florida during the hurricane? Or should I go on? How about your townhouse?”
