Rita was a little plump and started acting peculiar last night. She was having babies, but the other fish were eating them. My husband put her in the breeder box and we watched as she had many more. It was quite fascinating. After she stopped, we took her out of the breeder box so she wouldn't eat any. This morning I woke up to a bunch of hungry babies. I fed them fish flakes that I grind between my fingers into powder. They loved it. Babies need to be fed twice a day. In a couple of days we will relocate them to the nursery tank, our playlist video is our granddaughter showing you how to set up nursery tank. If you have fish, especially live bearers you need a tank set up and cycled for the babies.
