Democratic Socialism is the most popular brand of socialism. It came into existence as a reaction against the Scientific Socialism. This ideology believes that the state is a positive good and it should perform maximum functions. It believes that for the purpose of achievement of socialism state Should follow democratic and peaceful means only. Thus, Capitalism can be converted into Socialism by passing state laws and constitutional provisions.
