I watched Encanto and it made me ugly cry & laugh at the same time. This is my reaction to Encanto and it was a super fun movie to watch, cry, and laugh along to. The, we don’t talk about Bruno situation and song was great. I truly do love the whole Madrigal family they were all likable. Abuela was a little bit hard to understand at first because she was being very rude and mean to mirabel, but she got her act together and explained herself so I was able to forgive her. I appreciate the fact that we got a look into a realistic dysfunctional family, because I think it’s something a lot of us have to deal with in some form. Mental health and dealing with traumas can be hard but it’s still very important for us to seek assistance and deal with those things so that we are less likely to harm someone else. That’s why I was so happy when Abuela realized that she was the problem and got he act together. All in all this Disney movie was realistic, funny, memorable, and just enjoyable and that’s why it’s my favorite Disney movie!
