Copacabana is the most famous neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro and Brazil. We can say that.
In this walking video I walked through some of the busiest streets in the neighborhood to Copacabana beach. To show how the day-to-day trade is, residents, neighborhood goers and the distance, how it is to walk to the beach.
I took a little more turns to show the neighborhood than the normal way to the beach. But you can get a sense of the reality of Copacabana.
I started at the Siqueira Campos subway station, went to Rua Figueiredo de Magalhães, crossed to Rua Siqueira Campos inside the Shopping Cidade de Copacabana gallery. From Siqueira Campos, I walked to the intersection of Rua Barata Ribeiro and walked along it. I turned again at Rua Figueiredo de Magalhães until I reach Copacabana Beach, crossing Av. Nossa Senhora de Copacabana. From the beach I went untill the Copacabana Palace where I finished the walk.
