Making things using the Shou Sugi ban technique to make projects pop by burning them has been a fascination of mine for some time. So I finally got the chance to make a desk using this technique. I also got to try some new joinery that I have not done before. Using the Mortise and Tenon Wedge Joints was a lot of fun to learn. The base of the desk is held together completely by wood no glue or metal fasteners. What do you guys think?
