In this video I take on the challenge to build a better off grid AC for a roadtrip I'm going on soon. I will be traveling in a Sprinter Van, and sometimes at night it can get pretty warm. With this setup I can provide sub 60 Degree output air, off 3 bags of ice for 8-10 Hours. This system utilizes a baffle system, a small radiator, and a USB powered pond pump to keep the ice cool and away from the warm air. Most other DIY air conditioners recommend using blocks of Ice, but there is no way to reliably get blocks of ice out on the road, so I designed this one using regular bags of ice from a convenience store.
