The First Annual North American Continental MycoBlitz was split into two weeks. Week 1 was August 12 - 19, 2019 and week 2 was October 20 - 27, 2019. more information about the event can be found at

This video is a compilation of all footage captured during the MycoBlitz by Adam via GoPro. The footage was entirely from the first week of the event, however, the short 10 item slideshow at the end of the video contains specimens from the second week.

The MycoBlitz event received 5,144 total fungal observations with there being 1,119 different species among those 5,144.

215 people participated with there being a potential of 2150 samples submitted for possible DNA sequencing (10 samples per person). Observations were recorded in Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, the Continental United States, and Mexico!
