In this edition of BIH we bring to you the story of the cordial relationship which existed for many years between Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida and Mamman Vatsa but which ended in the execution of Mamman Vatsa by firing squad during the military presidency of his friend - Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida. We discuss their growing up years, their education in the same schools, their career progression in the military, the relationship between both of their families and the events that led to the execution of Mamman Vatsa. Babangida and Mamman were high ranking military officers in Nigeria.
