The Guitar Minnow is a clouser variation developed by Jim Bernstein at Eldredge Bros. Flyshop in Cape Neddick, Maine. It was designed to be a
deadly fly for Striped Bass and that it is!

This is my go to fly no matter where i am fishing for Striped Bass. You can
tie it many different ways (scaling down size, adding feathers in the tail, different color patterns) but this is my favorite pattern yet.

One thing i will say about tying this fly is, try to get soft bucktail. Not the thick hollow kind. For the bottom belly tie, try to have soft but curly bucktail.

Please feel free to ask any questions regarding the fly, or just fishing in
general. Please subscribe for more fishing and tying videos. Thank you for watching.
