Silverline: Special Guest - J.C. Vaughn

J.C. VAUGHN is best known as the President of Gemstone Publishing, the home of The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide. A noted authority on comic books and comic book history, he has authored thousands of articles on the subjects. In 2022, he was one of the driving forces in launching Overstreet Access, the online version of the Guide, and he served as co-author of The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide To Lost Universes.

In comics he has created or co-created Zombie-Proof (with Vincent Spencer), Return of the Human (with Mark Wheatley), Bedtime Stories for Impressionable Children, McCandless & Company, and others. He has written or co-written 24, Stargate Atlantis, Stargate Universe, Battlestar Galactica, Mighty Samson (with former Marvel Comics editor-in-chief Jim Shooter), Shi (with Billy Tucci), DC’s Blue Beetle, and Cory Doctorow’s Futuristic Tales of the Here & Now.

In addition to comics, he has written for animation, trading cards, magazines, newspapers, and websites. As a screenwriter, he co-wrote the pilot Hyperloop, presently in development with Roddenberry Entertainment. He also wrote a novel, Second Wednesday, a murder mystery.
