I can't decide if what I'm about to do is a good idea or a bad one but you can be along for the ride to find out.

I decided that I can't stand ultra thick grass and I know that sounds odd, but it's true. The reel mowed sections of the lawn have become so thick already this season that I'm having a hard time getting the mower to cut it all properly and also it just doesn't have the overall look that I want. So it's time for a lawn renovation of cool season grass...in JUNE?? We have a few weeks of decent weather ahead so did a verticut, combed through the grass after that, and did some sand leveling. Stay tuned!
