Opening weekend of turkey season 2024 was one to remember. After a slow morning hunting with my dad I decided to go to the other end of the lease and boy did it pay off! BUT not with out a catch. On the first shot The gun went off and blew the chamber open. After trying to rack another shell I noticed the first shell was chrushed and on fire, I blew the shell out and pulled the melted shell out of the chamber just in time to get a second shot off on the returning tom. Thanks to the flextone decoys for the gobbler coming back.
