In this video I visit Zihuatanejo / Ixtapa, in the southwestern part of Mexico.

I was surprised by how calm, safe, and beautiful it was -- and how friendly and approachable the locals were.

As always, I wander around and get the local perspective, check out local businesses, ask about hidden gems and good food, and capture (or at least try) the essence of the people and the place
