Today we are improving the appearance of our CR-Z (by my standards, anyway) by removing and plugging up the factory window wiper installed on the rear glass of the CR-Z hatch. In this video we will go over changing the wiper blade, or fully removing the wiper arm and motor assembly from the trunk, as well as using a custom 3D-printed rubber plug to seal the hole in the window.

I tested this plug using a hose at pretty high pressure, spraying all over and toward the edges. There were no leaks! I have full confidence in the plug in rainy or snowy weather, maybe even some automatic car washes. However, this is a 'perform at your own risk' mod and results will vary depending on what kit you go with. If you are unsure, use a bit of glue around the edges or on the inside of the window after installation for the best long-term seal.
